Roles & Responsibilities

The Project Manager at Automation NTH is responsible for ensuring successful project execution from start to finish. This includes managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and risk while maintaining a high standard of quality. Key responsibilities include:

1. Project Planning and Execution

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
  • Execute change control processes throughout the project.
 

2. Stakeholder Management and Communication

  • Manage relationships with clients and all stakeholders.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports to upper management.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team to set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress.
 

3. Risk and Performance Management

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Track project performance to analyze successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Measure project management performance against established standards.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
 

4. Documentation and Compliance

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and plans.
  • Work with the procurement team to create, administer, track, and eventually close project contracts.
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs.
 

5. Leadership and Continuous Improvement

  • Provide technical supervision and guidance during project conceptualization and development.
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills to coach and mentor team members.
  • Attend conferences and training to maintain proficiency and stay current on best practices.
  • Operate with limited supervision while exercising good judgment in decision-making.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience in project management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and management to successfully coordinate the team
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Demonstrate strong business knowledge including the understanding of core businesses, supporting processes and operations.
  • Outstanding problem-solver, demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with project management, spreadsheet and word processing applications are required.
  • Able to understand and utilize engineering drawings; as well as utilize financial reports and legal documents to conduct business.
  • Experience with field instrumentation hardware, control panel design and hardware and networking design and hardware.
  • Proficient with Adobe, Canva, or Similar
  • Proficient Using AI Tools
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ year degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Language Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

 

Physical Demands: May be required to perform the following Physical Activity: Sitting and/or standing for long periods of time, walking long distances, using hands, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear, taste or smell. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.; group lifting of up to 100 lbs.
