You have a passion for continuous learning and the ability to build long-lasting relationships with your clients. You’re self-motivated by the ability to manage and grow your own strategic accounts. You are skilled at prospecting and breaking into new accounts.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As the Strategic Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing new automation equipment business within the Life Sciences market. You will identifying strategic accounts and building your own book of business, including:

  • Drive new business development through proactive outreach and relationship building
  • Identify and pursue strategic opportunities in the Life Sciences industry
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Analyze customer needs and work with our engineering team to develop winning solutions
  • Develop technical sales presentations and proposals to convey winning solutions
  • Stay current with industry trends and technical developments that impact our target markets
  • Develop relationships across all levels of customer organizations
  • Deliver compelling presentations to technical teams and executive stakeholders
  • Convert leads to sales through disciplined follow-up
  • Demonstrate the unique value of Automation NTH
  • Collaborate with our engineering team and partners, internally and externally
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing and account management
  • Maintain an accurate and up to date CRM with sales forecasting


Background & Requirements

  • 5+ years of Technical Sales Experience in the industrial automation industry.
  • Strong technical foundation in industrial automation, including knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, Robotics, etc.
  • Possess creative, strategic, problem-solving skills to overcome customer challenges and roadblocks.
  • Proven ability to build long-lasting customer relationships through trust and solution selling.
  • Proven ability to develop new account and territories from scratch.
  • Ability to clearly convey complex, technical ideas into written and spoken formats to a variety of audiences, including executives, managers, engineers, and scientists.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Willingness to Travel up to 50%
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a full background check.
